QA Automation Engineer – Cluj-Napoca / Iasi

We are looking to hire a client-focused ‘Software Engineer’ to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team working with large global brands to explore new digital product concepts. This is achieved through the delivery of rapid and collaborative validation sprints to test potential new product concepts.

What will I be doing?
  • This is an amazing opportunity for a Software Engineer / SDET or a QA Automation Engineer to join a new company where you will oversee multiple client projects and be part of new technology build and launch projects.  
  • Contribute to existing tools, frameworks and related solutions  
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test suites and test cases  
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities  
  • Increase our automated test coverage and improve our release quality and velocity  
  • Analyze product, system and feature designs for flaws and improvements  
  • Validate and verify the integration of platform systems, services, data and applications  
  • Validate and verify customer-facing features, end-to-end, across the product platform 
What skills and experiences do I need?
  • BSc in a related field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other software/design discipline 
  • 3+ years in QA Automation role  
  • Good communication skills are key, particularly when dealing with non-technical clients.  
  • Strong experience with Java, Cypress, Cucumber  
  • Experience with CI/ CD systems like Atlassian, Jenkins, et.  
  • Familiar with different database systems in general (SQL, NoSQL, Key-Value stores): PostgreSQL and/ or MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch  
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process  
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus  
  • Proactive approach and strong collaboration skills  
  • The ability to listen, document, prioritize and turn high-level requirements into solid, actionable project plans  
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to deliver on tight timelines  
  • Team player  
  • Fun and upbeat with a “can-do” attitude.
